Frank the Tank moved out last night

Well, Frank found a new home last night. He will be living in the area (Apex, NC). Although we called him Frank, his new name is Oliver which was already picked out by the new owners. He was actually a surprise birthday gift last night to the wife of the new owner.

See ya, Frank. Hope you enjoy your new home!

Down to 4! (week 8)

As soon as Polly's puppies were born, we knew that this day would come. With mixed emotions we entered the weekend knowing that at the end of it, we would only have 4 of the puppies left. Now, Monday morning, we look around and wonder how these 8 weeks have passed so quickly.
Just a couple of weeks ago, we had 8 puppies. Yes, they were a handful...but they were puppies!

One by one, they began to go. First the light blue (Dash - Ft. Bragg, NC), then the clear (Ryleigh - Raleigh, NC) on Friday night, then the red (Zora - Nashua, New Hampshire) on Saturday, and finally pink (Reagan - Durham, NC) on Sunday.

Sunday night was pretty quiet. They four that remained played together and then passed out together on Polly's bed that they have taken over. Here are a few pictures of the remaining four - green (male - better known as Frank the Tank), blue (male),
white (female) and yellow (female).

Week Six

The puppies were finally able to go outside since we had some warm weather. Here are some of the pictures from Week Six.

Light Blue Left for His New Home

Last night, our first puppy went to his new home. Our boy with the light blue ribbon moved to Ft. Bragg. His new owners fell in love with him from the moment they met. We think they were a great fit! So, with a starter bag of food and a new toy in hand, they left. Off to Petsmart to complete their puppy supply purchase before heading back home.

Polly seemed a little anxious at first when she saw them leave with him. But we tried to distract her with the other 7 that were still there and she seemed to be fine.

We are so glad that we have 3 great homes so far that have committed to puppies already. We are in contact with many others who are very interested too.
